WHO IS BROTHER VAN

The first "Brother Van" was my Dad, Wes Van Nattan. He pastored a mission church in Briartown, Oklahoma long ago along the banks of the Canadian River. The folks there called him Brother Van, and that stuck throughout all of his life as a pastor and missionary. Dad is in The Glory now, and I have assumed his honored title of Brother Van. I try to live up to it.

I live with my wife in Central Texas, just down the road from heaven, and until I move on up the road to be with my Lord, I intend to encourage my friends in Christ, torment the Pope and other heretics, and generally try to make life better for the people of Jesus Christ.

The King James Bible is my only final authority. All other English bibles and worldly notions of what is politically correct, and what is tolerable and tactful, be DAMNED.

And, as usual, I say that in all good Christian charity.
